Conception of Curacao-Vacation.com

It was a beautiful sunny day in Curacao, the Caribbean island between Aruba and Bonaire. There was a lazy feel in the air, as the chirping of a colorful tropical bird was only occationally interrupted by the sound of a passing car. A big blue lizard slowly crawled from its hiding place in the shade of the trees to the little puddle below a steadily dripping air-conditioner for a sip of water. The machine was working overtime, as inside the building three minds were buzzing with ideas during a heated brain-storming session on their next project.

As most great ideas, this idea started out with the sentence: 'Hey, wouldn't it be cool if...'. The speaker in this case was Grandmaster Web Development, our own personal computernerd, Alex. 'Hey, wouldn't it be cool if we made a reservation system for tour operators on Curacao, so people would be able to pre-book their tours and activities online, before they come on vacation?'. The Curacao specialists of the team, event planners Adrine and Juliette, we all for it. But being the perfectionists that they are, they added to the challenge by proposing the building of a complete online travel shop to Curacao.

The result is now online. The only place to book a vacation to Curacao online, with special internet prices and a personal touch. Sailing trips, sightseeing tours, helicopter flights, not to forget hotels, air and carrental, it is all possible here: http://www.curacao-vacation.com/.

Curacao Vacation

If you look down at our earth from space, it looks like a friendly blue and green ball, with some specks of white where the clouds are slowly drifting by.

You take a closer look and you see a planet full of war, people who are stressed and intolerant, the fear for terrorism, tsunamis, H1N1 and economic recession written on everyone's faces.

People are looking for a way to escape, but they can't, because it is the same everywhere! Wait? Everywhere? Not quite.

In the heart of the Caribbean is a small island, untouched by the threat of terrorism, carefully avoided by hurricanes and other natural disasters, where people of over forty different nationalities live peacefully side by side. It is a place without violence towards other races and where gays and lesbians can walk in the streets hand in hand, without provoking remarks, or worse.

It is a place with the clearest turquise waters you will ever see, charming authentic pastel colored historical buildings, white sandy beaches and warm sunny weather all year long.

The steady North-Eastern trade winds cool you off enough to take a hike along the rugged North coast or one of the old salt-flats. If you rather stay in town you can spend hours shopping, visiting the many wonderful musea or just simply relaxing at one of the harborsite cafes for a refreshing cocktail as you see the ships come by.

You must think I'm pulling your leg. A place like I just described couldn't possibly exist, could it?

Ah, but that is why it is called the hidden treasure of the Caribbean - let's make that the world! This is Curacao... And I am here to show you how to escape to Curacao, if even only for a day or a week. And once you are here, I am going to make sure you get so spoiled, that you will never want to go anywhere else in your life!

In my next post, I will start to unveil the curtain. So hurry back soon!
